The 28th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, also known as the SAG Awards, will take place at the Barker Hangar venue located in Santa Monica, California. The awards first began in the mid-90s when the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists came together to vote on performances by their peers. The community of people in the entertainment industry included actors, journalists, singers, and many others.

Who is presenting?
It was announced on February 22nd that A-list celebrities including Lady Gaga, Jared Leto, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Cate Blanchett will be among the many presenters to announce the award for “Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Motion Picture.” Other presenters confirmed are Vanessa Hudgens, Rosario Dawson, Ross Butler, and Alexandra Daddario.
Kate Winslet will also be in attendance to present Helen Mirren the SAG Lifetime Achievement Award.
The cast of Hamilton: Daveed Diggs, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Leslie Odom Jr. will be opening the awards show.
Who is hosting this year?
For the 3rd year in a row, there will be no host.

The SAG Awards airs Sunday, February 27th at 8:00 p.m. EST / 5:00 p.m. PST on TBS and TNT. The show will also be available on HBO Max the next day.
