For Obscura Day in Los Angeles, a miniature road trip felt like the right approach. First stop was at the Donut Hole, an incredible breakfast spot where I got to live out a lifelong dream by driving through a giant donut. In North Hollywood, I hit up Circus Liquor, where a slightly terrifying neon-powered clown towers above a busy intersection. Finally, I checked out the Metropolitan Pit Stop, where all they do is restore a single model of car: the Nash Metropolitan, and where you can see about a dozen pristine examples of that classic American coupe.
